TRYPASS - Family Packaged Smoke Tube Steam Boilers

Unical Boiler – TRYPASS is a family of packaged smoke tube steam boilers, offering genuine three-pass and wet back designs. Standard safety pressure up to 12 bar (higher pressures available upon request), with outputs ranging from 1300 to 22000 kg/h.
  • Boiler Body: Constructed from a cylindrical shell and a wet-back furnace, featuring dished and butt-welded tube plates made from high-quality steel. All materials are certified for their chemical and mechanical characteristics, with stringent controls conducted at every production stage. Welding seams are performed by qualified personnel following certified procedures and undergo Non Destructive Tests as part of an internal “Manufacturing and Control” program. Hydraulic testing is conducted post-manufacturing in compliance with Directive 2014/68/UE (PED) requirements.
  • Smoke Tubes: Made of high-quality steel, welded to tube plates without helical turbulators.
  • Reversing Chamber: Constructed from welded steel plate, completely water-cooled, and connected to the rear smoke-box with supports and a manhole.
  • Front Smoke-Box: Built from welded steel plate, internally clad with insulation material and a layer of high-density refractory material. Equipped with two doors for cleaning and inspection, hinged for quick access. Includes a self-cleaning sight glass near the burner hole for combustion control during boiler operation.
  • Rear Smoke-Box: Made from welded steel plate, internally clad with insulation material and high-density refractory material. Features two doors for cleaning and inspection, hinged for easy access. Includes a horizontal chimney connection sized according to boiler output and a self-cleaning sight glass for combustion control. Can be fitted with an external economizer.
  • Base: Constructed with a welded steel frame, connected to tube plates and closed with steel plates.
  • Walkway: Positioned on the top part of the boiler, made of steel and covered with chequered plate. Can be equipped with handrails and access ladder upon request.
  • Insulation: The shell is thermally insulated with a 100 mm rock wool cladding bound with high-density, thick thermosetting resins. It is suitably supported and externally covered with 10/10 thick enameled aluminum.
